North Stradbroke Island

One of the best boat trips I’ve ever been on is over Moreton Bay to North Stradbroke Island. Only accessible by sea, this island off the east coast of Australia is inhabited by an indigenous aboriginal community and a mix of mainland Europeans.

The marine creatures and wildlife are abundant as our photo gallery shows pictures of koalas, birds and even a dog. The surfers and swimmers were obviously enjoying the warmth of the water. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles and sharks from the cliffs high above the waterline.

We regularly add wonderful new photo albums taken in all sorts of places on The Gold Coast.
